Tasty Popcorn Chicken Recipe

INGREDIENTS for Making Tasty Popcorn Chicken Recipe:

( 1 cup = 100 ml, tsp = Teaspoon )

500 gm of small pieces of chicken (Boneless)

Mustard oil (for deep fry)

3 eggs

3 tsp maida

2 tsp corn flour

½  cup Garlic paste

½  tsp of chilli powder

¼ tsp Black pepper powder

1 tsp Oregano seasoning (optional)

2  tsp Cumin powder

1  tsp chat masala or meat masala

Salt (as needed)

Tasty Popcorn Chicken Recipe –

Step-1

Wash the chicken properly and also make small cuts on the pieces, so that the marination process is efficient and provides great taste.

Step-2

Take the chicken in a bowl and add ½ cup garlic paste, ½ tsp of chilli powder, 1 tsp chat masala, 1 tsp cumin powder in it and mix it thoroughly. Place the chicken for marination in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 mins.

Step-3

After 20 mins, take that bowl out from the refrigerator. Take a fresh bowl and add 3 eggs, 2 tsp corn flour, 3 tsp maida, 1 tsp cumin powder, ¼ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp oregano seasoning, salt (as per taste and requirement) in it along with the marinated chicken and mix everything properly.

Step-4

Take a pan (kadhai) and heat it, when the pan is heated, add oil in it and also heat it on medium flame, Add the chicken pieces in the pan gradually once the oil is heated and deep fry it on medium flame till the color turns light brown.

Note : Make sure to not get a darker brown color which will give a burnt taste.

Step-5

After the chicken is fried and is light brown in colour, and take it in a serving bowl and serve the delicious dish with green chutney (sauce), tamarind chutney, or tomato sauce, as per one’s liking.
